Next Sunday Jan and I go to the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam to visit Meesterlijk 2017. I’m very curious how this year’s edition will be. Last year we thought the Fair was beautiful. Meesterlijk brings craft, design, food and applied arts. Meesterlijk from 25 – 27 november in Amsterdam.
Since we’re in the area we also going to the Haarlemmerstraat to visit Sukha …
… this beautiful shop has special clothes by small businesses and great brands. I bought this 100% wool cardigan at Sukha.
We also want to visit Koos a newly opened store in the Haarlemmerstraat.
Koos is a shoe and handbag brand that was establised years ago at a kitchen table in the Netherlands. Koos captured in no time Japan and is only just now available on the European market. Founder Nynke Fennema went as a freelance designer to Japan to learn about shape and color. Back in the Netherlands Nynke started to realize her dream: to make simple but original design with natural materials.
In 2001 Koos was born. A collection of boots, shoes, sandals and bags in subtle tones and all made from soft buffalo leather and soft suede from Australia. Now on sale in their shop in the Haarlemmerstraat.
