Back home from Sieraad Art Fair in Amsterdam

Sorry, the blogpost about Sieraad Art Fair is a bit late. Something went wrong with the website and that has only recently been repaired. So now we are already back home for a week after 4 exciting days at Sieraad Art Fair in Amsterdam. In the photo above you see the exhibition in the middle path in the gas holder. Do you see the beautiful new LED light in the ceiling?

To our right was a goldsmith school from Munich. And the umbrellas on the left are from a group of jewelry makers from Greece.

Marion Pannekoek RTL interview

Here we are interviewed by Dutch television (RTL 4). That same day the interview was online and also on TV.

The small house is designed to place over the really precious jewelry. Because unfortunately this fair also attracts visitors who steal jewelry.

All in all we had a good time at the fair and there was yet again lots of interesting jewelry by makers from around the world. I do have a feeling the public is changing, I think there are fewer and fewer “connoisseurs” and more and more shoppers. Changing times …

The restaurants I showed in my previous post were very special. At Hotel L’Europe we had a lovely table at the window. We were amazed at the amount of tourist boats on the Amstel. We didn’t go to Café Caron, something went wrong with the reservation. Too bad. Instead we went to restaurant De Plantage. The food was very special and the service great! Mussel and Gin was as always cozy and delicious.

Customers, friends, acquaintances and new people we met, all thanks for your visit to our stand at Sieraad Art Fair, your compliments, warm interest and support have done us really well!
