mystic glaukophan
Glaukophan is the name of the stones in these wonderful earrings.

The word Glaukophan comes from the Greek language. The word Glaukos means ‘blue’ and fanos means ‘appearance’. The stones have wonderful colors, of grey with dots of red and blue.

The Glaukophan is set in shiny silver. The total length of the earrings is 5 cm. The piece of silver what sits on the ear is blackened and has a roller mill imprint of paper in them. Because of this paper imprint the surface of the silver has a nice sort of roughness about it. The posts at the back of the silver earrings are made of 14-carat gold because gold is a stronger material than silver.
