These amazingly beautiful earrings are made of 18-carat gold and Boulder opal.

This type of opal is found in Australia and has the most wonderful colors. The quality of opal is determined by its color and depth and not by its weight, as is the case with diamonds and sapphires. The color shown by the blue-green opals in these earrings is clear and beautiful. They are therefore top-quality gemstones. As the photo shows, the shape of the earrings follows the line of the face. So that the earrings can be worn firmly and comfortably, there is an extra large gold friction back on the post and extra plastic discs are supplied.

The earrings measure 40x12mm. The largest opal measures 12x7mm.

Jan Kerkstra designed these ‘très chique’ earrings. The ‘Delight’ earrings are one of a kind: only one pair has ever been made.
