This little silver beker is part of a collection of jewelry and articles of use we designed for the Hunebed Centrum in Borger, Drenthe.

For this collection we were inspired by the ceramics they found in Drenthe from the Trechterbeker people. About 5000 years ago this people lived in Drenthe and they are quit famous for their graves, the Hunebedden. Most of the bekers and vases they found of the Trechterbeker people had a funnel neck. Hence their name, trechter means funnel in Dutch. This little silver beker is a replica of the bekers they  found. The decorations they used on their pots are the same ones we used on this beker.

This little silver beker is 4cm. high, the top has a diameter of 3,5cm. In one photo the silver of the beker is blackened to make the decorations stand out more. The beker is available blackened or not blackened.

The design is one we both worked on.
