Beautiful brooch made ​​of ebony and rose wood encased in a large sterling silver border.

All holes in the wood are lined with silver. (You can look through the holes).

The large silver rim around the dark ebony is round on the side.
The silver border around the square is flat on the side. It's just a small detail but this difference (round and flat edge) makes the brooch very special.

Kleine Beer ( Little Bear) is a large brooch.
The diameter of the circle ebony is more than 5 cm. The length measured from the rim of the ebony circle to the point of the square is more than 6 cm.

The brooch is pinned on the clothing with a system called safety pin.This safety pin is made of sterling silver. These are not the most convenient locks but they are the safest.

TIP: Usually I pin my brooch on my clothing  before I pull the garment on.

We like you to know that we use recycled precious metals in our Atelier and the brooches are all made of little scraps and pieces of wood we saved over the years.
