Simple and beautiful brooch.

Made of cedar. The wood is encased in a beautiful heavy silver border. We blackened the silver of this border because that way one can see the copper rivets better .

The surface of the wood has a very slightly convex. The brooch is worn across (in with) because we thought this way the design of the brooch is "stronger".

At its widest point (ie sideways) the brooch measures 5.5 cm. It is almost 5 cm high. The silver rim is 7 mm. high and the copper rivets are 3mm in diameter.

The brooch is pinned on the clothing with a system called safety pin.This safety pin is made of sterling silver. These are not the most convenient locks but they are the safest.

TIP: I pin the brooch on my clothing before I pull it on.

We like you to know that we use recycled precious metals in our Atelier and the brooches are all made of little scraps and pieces of wood we saved over the years.
