This bracelet is one of our first designs. It is a timeless piece.

The bracelet is a hollow shape inlaid on both sides with coromandel. This wood has a wonderful grain structure and has a high-gloss finish. The bracelet is not heavy but because of its round shape it does get in the way – for instance – when you are writing. But apart from that it is an eminently wearable bracelet. I myself, for example, always wear it on my left wrist so that it is not in the way when I have to write. Inlaying wood is one of Jan’s specialties. From years of experience creating and selling jewelry with inlaid wood we know that the wood really does stay in place. In our collection of wedding rings, for instance, we have a gold ring with an inlaid strip of ebony. As you know a wedding ring is worn every day and the wearer even takes a shower with the ring on. And yet the wood stays in place even in the ring. It is important that a bracelet such as this one should fit around the wrist as if molded. It should not dangle, but also should not be too tight.

This bracelet is 54mm. in diameter. That means it fits a wrist not wider as 54mm. As you can see from the photos, the bracelet can be opened because it has a hidden fastener and a hinge.
