A breathtaking sterling silver bracelet inlaid with ebony.

This bracelet is a fine example of a completely timeless design. It has been in our collection for some time, but throughout the years it has remained a really magnificent piece. Black Beauty is made of sterling silver and has ebony inlays. Inlaying (precious) metals with wood is one of Jan Kerkstra’s specialties, and it was he who designed this bracelet. From years of experience creating and selling  jewelry with inlaid wood we know that the wood really does stay in place. In our collection of wedding rings, for instance, we have a gold ring with an inlaid strip of ebony. As you know a wedding ring is worn every day and the wearer even takes a shower with the ring on. And yet the wood stays in place even in the ring.

This bracelet is oval in shape, which makes it easy to wear. (For example, it does not get in the way when you are writing.), The sterling silver  and the ebony have both a matt finish (brushed) appearence. It is important that a bracelet such as this one should fit around the wrist as if molded. It should not dangle, but also should not be too tight.

This ‘Black Beauty' is size 16,5cm. (diameter) The width is 10mm. and 4,6mm. It runs from 2mm. to 4mm.thick. This bracelet is also available in 14carat gold.
